Trans-Seasonal Style Trends

April is proving to be an interesting month for creative takes on classic trends and the emergence of exciting new ones. Something about trans-seasonal dressing seems to inspire innovation and eccentricity, and we’re loving it!  Check out what we’re noticing here and OS!

The Double Denim

Transeasonal Style Trends - Double Denim

Denim on denim has come a long way since Britney and Justin’s iconic 2001 red carpet appearance. All denim ensembles aka the Canadian Tuxedo continues to be a go-to street style look for fashion week attendees around the world. It’s the casual getup of choice for celebs like Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid and Margot Robbie. As the story goes, the Canadian tux started gaining momentum in the 1950s – and with an inexhaustible range of cuts and washes to choose from, we can’t see this trend slowing down anytime soon.

The Blazer Dress

Nothing calls for creativity more than trans-seasonal weather. Blazers continue to be a staple for the street style set, but those who’ve invested in longer line cuts are doing away with pants and making the most of the remaining warm weather. With a touch of formality and playfulness, the blazer dress trend offers the best of both worlds.
