For the people at Solomon Street, circular systems start and end with soil and land. And since the sustainable hemp brand has a very special relationship with our planet, they’ve decided to have a sale to celebrate World Soil Day, today!

“At Solomon Street we choose to work with fibres like hemp as the plants breathe life into otherwise nutrient-depleted and overworked soil. Soil plays a vital role in regulating the earth’s climate by storing carbon, and soil degradation due to unsustainable practices, and pollution threatens our ability to sustain life on earth.
Any conversation around regenerative practices MUST be lead with First Nations People at the front, as Indigenous communities have been sustainable caring for the land for 70,000+ years, preserving biodiversity protecting ecosystems.
This is why on World Soil Day we’re running a sale for soil. For a whole week we’ll donating 5% of all our sales to Country Needs People, an organisation supporting Indigenous rangers caring for country. Their efforts ensure the preservation of Australia’s landscapes, biodiversity, and cultural heritage for future generations.
We are incredibly proud and grateful to be supporting Country Needs People, and even if you find yourself at capacity for funky fruity clothes, we urge you to donate what you can. We know times are hard – if you find yourself unable to assist financially, sharing the message is equally appreciated.
