Fashion Industry Catch-Up for South Aussies

Adelaide Fashion Industry Event

Fashion Industries South Australia is inviting those in Adelaide in fashion to its first event for 2021.  The newly formed group representing designers and fashion businesses is hosting an informal evening to network and discuss what’s happening, what’s important and what’s needed.

Previously underestimated, fashion’s contribution to the South Australian economy is the largest of the creative industries. Those industries include film, gaming, performing arts, music and festivals. In fact, within this group fashion is actually the biggest, by Gross Value Added. (To explain, GVA is a dollar value for the amount of goods and services, minus the cost of all inputs and raw materials that directly contribute to their production.) So, there’s lots to talk about and lots to enjoy!

Equal parts social, networking and business, you’re asked to bring along a pen (we’re still living in Covid times) to fill out a questionnaire. Everyone in the business is invited and the cost is only $5 to go towards nibbles.  Food and Drinks will also be available to purchase.
