Vintage Fashion Style
When it comes to vintage fashion style and the best stores in which to find them, you can’t afford to overlook Australia’s smaller cities. They hold a secret stash of incredible vintage gems. Whether you’re a seasoned shopper looking for something specific or a newbie to the game of vintage shopping, Canberra and Hobart have got something for you. If you live there, you’re lucky to be near their vintage stores. If you don’t, they’re well worth the visit when you’re there.
All are bricks-and-mortar, with only one of them offering shopping online.
Canberra’s famed music hub isn’t just about cool vinyls and CDs. Established in 1994, Landspeed Records stocks a huge range of band merch and vintage fashion styles too. Out the back as part of Things We Lost, their sister store is a broad and miscellaneous collection of vintage women’s fashion. Everything’s sourced both locally and overseas. Online through Things We Lost or in store in the heart of Canberra.
