Style Challenge: The Lone Horseman

New brand on the Sydney street wear block, The Lone Horseman, has released a cool dyed and stone washed range of tees with pre-worn holes. We asked 3 men’s fashion bloggers who follow Cocktail Revolution to try out The Lone Horseman’s latest winter tee and tell us what they thought. Here’s what Derek from Adelaide, Simon recently arrived in Adelaide from Melbourne, and Vee from Brisbane thought and how they chose to style it.

Take #1 -Derek Lee @mynameisderek Adelaide

I chose to emphasize this look with The Lone Horseman’s charcoal long sleeve tee. Why charcoal?

People often forget how versatile charcoal is along with the basic white and black. It’s just a much softer shade to work with opposed to something so stark. I pair this tee with a lighter grey scarf to add a bit of contrast and variety; I also wore my trusty all white leather sneakers to add a bit of luxe and pop to my outfit!

Talking about the tee now, I genuinely love it! It’s soft, easy to wear and 100% cotton – so wearing it on a hot day? Easy! It’ll breathe! Being so light weight, super easy to use as a layer (as I did) and it’s something that you’ll find handy to have in the wardrobe!

The Lone Horseman – thumbs up! I recommend checking this brand out!

Take #2 – Simon @stylebysimon  Adelaide

I wanted to make the top the focal point of the image, but I still wanted the shoot to have some interest to it. So I chose the Graffiti background. In terms of styling, I didn’t want the outfit to be too busy, so I went with casual yet colourful clothing, shoes and accessories, which juxtaposed really well against the Lone Horseman top!

I found the lavender Lone Horseman longed sleeve top to be fun to style! The fabric was so light, and the colour gave me the opportunity to showcase the t-shirt in a number of different ways. Whilst being casual, the top was distinct enough to give the wearer a definite sense of style!

Take #3 – Vee Crawford @veighss Brisbane

Paired with Alexander Wang Jeans and Nikes, I felt good but I have to admit that I found the project challenging as street wear is not my usual style! My colour was off-white, and as it goes with anything, it was easy to put a casual look together.
