Witchery White Shirt Campaign 2024
The Witchery Whie Shirt Campaign has been launched for 2024, offering a ray of hope and support in the fight against ovarian cancer. Bursting with style as well as purpose, this campaign is more than just about looking fabulous. It’s about making a real differrence in the world.
At the heart of the White Shirt Campaign lies a deep commitment to early detection research for ovarian cancer. With every purchase of the crisp, classic white shirt from this year’s offering, you’re not just adding a versatile piece to your wardrobe, you’re contributing to life-saving research efforts. Along with this significant annual fundraiser, Witchery is spreading awareness of this insidious women’s disease through their social media campaign. They’re igniting conversations about the importance of early detection and the impact it can have on saving lives.
When you wear your white shirt, you’ll be doing more than striding confidently down the street. You’ll be making a statement of solidarity and support for women affected by ovarian cancer.
It’s fashion with a purpose and it looks good on everyone!
By investing in early detection research, we’re all sowing the seeds for better outcomes, improved treatments, and ultimately, a world where ovarian cancer is no longer a threat. We’ll be making a difference, one stylish shirt at a time.
This year marks the 16th time Witchery is offering a specially designed white shirt for its campaign to raise funds for the early detection of ovarian cancer. Early detection could save the lives of over 8,000 Australian women and over 1.3 million women world wide over the next 10 years. Sadly, by the time it’s detected, it’s too late to stop its devastating progress. Only 49% of women survive ovarian cancer.
This year’s white shirt was designed by Witchery’s new head of design, Kirby Hanrahan, and it’s actually a choice of two styles. “We’re excited to present two new styles this year: both crafted from a heavy-weight 100% organic cotton poplin fabrication and designed to outlast trends and seasons,” she said.
“The OCRF Cropped Shirt re-imagines the classic white shirt with a relaxed, cropped length, while the OCRF Oversized Shirt brings an effortlessly cool aesthetic with its high-low hem and oversized proportions.”
Witchery had been working with the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation for 24 years and 100% of gross proceeds are donated to the OCRF. We’ve bought ours this year. Hope you do too!
