Celebrity Chefs, Drinks & Dancing at Australia’s Biggest Cheesefest
It’s time to say CHEESE! Cheesefest is back and its better than ever! Make sure you spare time over the October long weekend and head to Adelaide if you’re not already in town. You’re going to need it to enjoy everything on offer at this 3-day celebration with celebrity chefs, all manner of things cheese, drinks and heaps of dancing.
From Friday 14 October to Sunday 16 October, Adelaide will be home to the biggest cheese-athon in the country at Rymill Park Murlawirrapurka. Special guests Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan will be set to shine some well-deserved light over South Australia’s exceptional food produce. The dynamic originals from Master Chef will be running highly anticipated masterclass demonstrations on stage. Joining them will be legendary South Australian foodie icon and super chef, Simon Bryant, who will take a smaller number of guests through an intimate cooking session. That’s a couple of classes you will NOT want to miss.
With the excitement and joy of having dancing back in our social lives, you can be assured that there’ll be plenty of opportunity for you to get back on the dance floor. The High Noon Saloon for example, is just one of many dance spaces. A country inspired shindig with a mix of whisky, cheese and of course country music, it will have you on your feet for hours on end.
If spirits are what you’re into, boutique bars with locally crafted gins, whiskeys and liqueurs will be waiting for you to explore. Treat yourself to a master class in how to produce these distilled delights and see the finer points of craftsmanship required to perfect them.
Even Zoos SA is coming to the party, with loads of furry friends and local wildlife for you to make friends with.
You don’t have to be a South Australian to join in the festivities, at Cheesefest everyone’s welcome!
As the largest cheese festival in the country, it’s the most snackable 3-day event of the year! Full of unexpected surprises – we can’t give everything away right here – so mark your diary for a wonderful weekend with a difference.
See you there!
