Dress to Express Day - Brisbane Fashion Festival

Dress to Express Day – Beyond Domestic Violence, will be held on Friday 30 August. Wear your most fabulous outfit to walk in solidarity through the Queen Street Mall with DV survivors on their own journey to rediscover their identity and style!

While many of us feel fabulous wearing our favourite outfit, sadly, those experiencing abusive relationships don’t get to choose what they wear. This is one of the most common forms of coercive control. To register, go to beyonddv.org.au

There’s also a huge gala event planned for Friday night: Gala Red Carpet International Fashion Blockbuster and Australian premiere as part of Brisbane Festival. Details are under wraps until the Festival program is announced, on June 5, but it sounds nothing less than going to be amazing!
