Brisbane Fashion Festival Line-up Unveiled
The line-up for Brisbane Fashion Festival 2023 has finally been announced and no less than 50 designers will be appearing. The line-up includes the best of Australian, Queensland, and Next Gen talent over 3 days from 22-25 August.
Kicking of with The Star Brisbane Fashion Show on Tuesday 22nd August, the opening night spectacular is already sold out! Luxury Australian and high-end international fashion brands on show will include crow favourites: Carla Zampatti, Bianca Spender, Camargue, Bonita Collective, Ginger & Smart, Samantha Ogilvie, UNE Piece, sass & bide, and Gail Sorronda
Always original and creative, Next Gen showcases are known for presenting some of the most exciting up-and-coming fashion labels. The Wednesday night runway will be spotlighting issues such as sustainability, gender fluidity and neutrality, this runway is about diversity, and fashion inclusivity for all. Expect to see Rachel Burke, QUT Fashion, TAFE Queensland Brisbane, KG BOLD, JOTÉO, YLD Design, Practice Studio, Balaquin, Analia The Label, Fashion360, Lightning Boy by CJ, Mannzilo, Desert Lily Vintage, and Kamara Australia.
The Gala Closing show will feature Queensland’s top fashion talents in a spectacular presentation. As the finale the Gala Closing Show will feature exuberance, excitement, and often theatricality. The season’s latest looks will include Sonia Stradiotto Couture, Gina Kim, Naudic, White Label Noba, Sacha Drake, Elaurante, Astille, Mea Culta, POL, JOAEN, I Am My Husband’s Mistress, and ShiloLydia. The Gala Closing will be followed by an official after party reception hosted by Treasury Hotel, where ticketholders, designers, models and VIP’s will be able to mingle and enjoy each other’s company.
