Bonds GIVIT for the Festive Season

Bonds Donate Socks, Jocks, Undies

Iconic Aussie clothing brand Bonds is donating a million socks, jocks and undies to vulnerable families this holiday season via GIVIT.

What is GIVIT?

GIVIT  is a charity platform that helps people in need by matching their exact requirements with potential donors.   It’s a simple way for potential donors to discover what would make the most difference to the lives of those they support.  It ensures for example, that essential items such as sanitary products needed by  women fleeing domestic violence can reach them quickly.  Apart from family and domestic violence and support,  appeals range from drought and bushfire aid through to assisting indigenous communities. Now 11 years old, GIVIT has helped thousands of individuals and charities across Australia.

Bonds x GIVIT

In true Christmas spirit, Bonds is inviting us all to join them in spreading kindness by writing a greeting for a card that will be sent with each of their donated items. They donate the goods. You add a message of kindness. That’s it!

Message from Bonds

There’s no limit to the number of messages you can send. It’s a wonderful way to help release your endorphins, those feel good elements of the brain.  There’s no doubt that doing good makes you feel happy. And if after such a tough year, if you’re feeling a little anxious about the bank balance, sending a message is another way to give.

Bonds has partnered with GIVIT since 2018, already having donated over 250,000 items since then. Needless to say, devastating drought, this year’s horrendous bushfires and Covid19 have made 2020 one of the toughest years on record. A million additional items of essential clothing will help make a difference.   And the warmth of a personal greeting will help it go even further.

“One small act of kindness can make the biggest impact.” -Bonds
