The SA Fashion Focus Weekend is hosting a three day event that will showcase emerging fashion designers, local boutiques and a platform for aspiring creatives. The eventful weekend starts with the opening night, this Friday 22 November at 6.30pm Lucky’s Beach Club, Morphertville Racecourse.
Opening night features the Next-Gen Industry Mixer will include a panel of South Australian guest speakers who will share new business tips and tricks, insights into the fashion industry & social media marketing tools for success. The panel will include:
Kelly Noble – CEO of Glam Adelaide
Cristina Tridente – Head Designer of Couture+Love+Madness
Bec Cochrane – Director, Media Makeup
Brigette Michell – Manager and Founder of Finesse Models
ATilio Dusa – Clip Joint Education + Clip Joint Salons
Mirella Romano – Adelaide based freelance stylist and Fashion Editor of the Sunday Mail.
Ilija & Nicole, founders of Nutrition Republic
There will also be a fashion runway featuring Miko & Mollie, Loveday Collection, Style Capsule, Romp Squad, Valente the Label, DeLuca Tailors, Antidote and Baylis Accessories.
On Saturday night 23rd November the SA Fashion Focus Weekend is holding a Fashion in the Port fashion parade,at the very cool Flour Shed, Mundy St, Port Adelaide. The showcase of emerging and established local designers will feature a theatrical runway that will bring together Adelaide’s love of arts and culture.
