Adelaide Shopfest in Rundle Mall & Rundle Street

Vogue Festival: 8-10 October

Adelaide’s biggest shopping festival returns next weekend across three massive days in Rundle Mall and Rundle Street.

The October 8-10 event, presented by VOGUE Australia, will take over Rundle Mall and Rundle Street for the fourth time, with special activations and shopping offers by clothing, skincare, homeware, jewellery and hospitality retailers.

This year’s Festival will also be honouring one of Adelaide’s own who is recognised as one of Australia’s fashion icons. Paul Vasileff, the designer behind Paolo Sebastian has curated a retrospective of his designs and will be signing sketches for the public from 1-3pm on each day of the Adelaide festival.

Featuring a selection of his favourite gowns, the display in Rundle Mall will be focusing on the importance of storytelling. It’s set to transport its audience to a place of reverie and sharing the essence of the Paolo Sebastian dream.

Shopping Offers

There will be more than 150 exclusive offers that shoppers can take advantage of, as well as unique in-store experiences. Think champagne, canapes and DJs spinning tunes… it’s a three-day party across Rundle Mall and Rundle Street!

Exclusive offers and experiences will only be available in stores, (not online) with shoppers who spent $150 or more in a day receiving exciting gifts!

Festival Lobby

The VOGUE Festival Lobby is a one-stop shop, with a team on hand to provide information about all the offers, giveaways and activations taking place, as well as a Festival Buggy to help keen shoppers carry their bags.

The VOGUE Festival suite will pop up and play host to brand favourites such as Camilla and Sephora, with a roster of exclusive experiences.

Runways & Activities

Pop-up bars, Q&As with South Australian designers from Acler and Significant Other, live music and exclusive offers from 4pm to 9pm will be on offer by David Jones.

Myer Centre will hold three fashion parades across the Friday and Saturday to showcase the latest fashion, with a DJ spinning tunes and free ice-cream for shoppers in need of a quick sugar hit.

Opening Night

The official opening will be held in Gawler Place, Rundle Mall on Friday 8 October with a performance from Stellie and a confetti- soaked countdown. Local DJ’s will then take over the stage for the rest of the festival, filling the Mall with not-to- be-missed beats.

Car Parking Offers

This is one Adelaide festival that will be super-easy to get to. From 5pm on Friday, plus all day Saturday and Sunday, you can park for just a $4 flat rate when you pre-book with UPark using the promo code ‘VF21’.

At the Myer Centre, you can park for a flat rate of $8 if entering after 4pm on Friday.

The festival will be an extravaganza of all things fashion, fun and food, and will see Rundle Mall and Rundle Street come alive with colour. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to check out all of their favourite retailers, with fashion experiences, styling tips and more along Adelaide’s premier shopping precinct.
