Vegan Festival Adelaide 2021

Adelaide’s Vegan Festival Sparks Hope for the Future

Revered by vegans nation-wide, South Australia’s largest celebration of all things vegan is back for another outstanding year this October. The Vegan Festival Adelaide has become a pillar event for the v-curious, vegans and omnivores alike, bringing a community of like minded individuals together when we need it most.

Director of Vegan Festival Adelaide, Lea McBride of Any Excuse… Event Styling & Planning, has executed and delivered 3 major vegan-focused festivals to Adelaide during the COVID-19 pandemic, all while complying with SA Health requirements and guidelines. Building a world full of kindness, health, and commitment to the vegan movement and animal rights was the driving force behind these key community events.

Showcasing how simple it is to incorporate sustainable and vegan practices into daily life, Vegan Festival Adelaide say more people are participating in the local event each year, with 16,000 patrons at the festival in 2019. A weekend full of delicious food, awesome activities, with compassionate and eye-opening conversations are to be had under the trees and in the sunshine.

Sharing their experiences as frontline animal rights activists are Sea Shepherd’s Haans Siver and company delving into their real life experiences as seen on Netflix documentary Seaspiracy, along with fellow activist and politician Andy Meddick AJP as headline speakers during the festival.

Cooking demonstrations from Simon Toohey of Freshly Picked tv seriesJust Eat Plants’ Rebecca Stoner, and the amazing story of heart attack to Ironman Adam Guthrie will show you just how easy it is to lead a compassionate, plant-based lifestyle, without compromising on flavour, family favourites, while improving your health in 2021.
