Tom Ford Lost Cherry Perfume
Tom Ford Lost Cherry perfume is a seductive, multi-faceted fragrance with sweet, sexy nuances and arresting quality. No wonder that it’s captivated the luxury fragrance crowd like it has.
So let’s break down the offerings of Tom Ford Lost Cherry pefume, why it appeals and why you’ll want it!
A Unique Blend of Sweet and Sophisticated
One spray of Tom Ford Lost Cherry pefume and you’re instantly in the middle of a space of plump, red cherries. It’s warm and fresh and 100% sexy. The introduction is just so much fun – clearly fruity but in a very ‘grown-up’ way and it has this mix of fun and depth that becomes more fascinating and revealing as it dries down. The cherries are so darn ripe – it’s practically a hug.
The Alluring Heart of Almond and Liquor
Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry perfume marries sweet almond with tart cherry and the luscious darkness of Turkish rose and adds a shot of some kind of liqueur. This is one of my favourite cherry almonds (which aren’t subtle about either the cherry or the almond and taste more of a liqueur than sugar but have their substance weightily warmed rather than weightlessly fluffed) and the impish fun of its champagne-like fizz is one more reason why.
The Lasting Impression of Vanilla and Balsam
As the Lost Cherry fragrance dries down, you get a very full-bodied, smooth vanilla and luscious balsam accord with a really nice, added warm touch of persimmon. The balsam vanilla is very cosy and thigh-kicking in a Godly way and it stops at just the right amount of sweetness that floats on the skin. It’s warm and yummy, cosy and not too sweet, just a perfectly warm balsam-vanilla that surrounds you in this Godly sweetness, just this perfect, warm, calm and collected Lost Cherry sweetness.
When and Where to Wear Lost Cherry
Lost Cherry is a year-round fragrance. It’s a cold-weather fragrance. It’s cosy and warm and comfortable. And the cold covers the cherry and the vanilla without making you smell like a Slurpee walking through the Bahamas. It’s a cashmere sweater in a bottle wrapped in a scent that I personally never want to take off. Not super heavy and definitely not offensive. The sillage on LC (as I fondly call it) is absolutely beautiful and you leave behind a lovely veil of complex cherry goodness. Even a spiced earthiness is in this blend for some depth. I can’t see a better date night or special occasion fragrance.
Layering Tips to Enhance the Experience
As always, if you want to make Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry perfume more versatile you can layer it with other fragrances. Choose a good vanilla or woodier base for more “warmth” and a cosier, more winter-like fragrance.
The more saccharine of the note has a sweet base that is light and sugared, and the result is more lively and less winter-cosy. All you need is 5 little drops of a bubbly, rainbow fragrance to burst with its first spring sunshine energy. It’s like a ray of sunshine in a bottle to cover those grey, grey, grey days!
Tom Ford Lost Cherry Perfume: An Investment in Luxury
It’s luxury all the way, even it’s beautiful packaging. The rich burgundy-coloured Tom Ford Lost Cherry perfume bottle presents the “liquid heart” within. The bottle is gorgeous and chunky. You want to hold onto it and appreciate it before you ever get to spraying. This is an investment in a stunning scent. The ingredients are quality and they show and wear like opulence.
