This Week’s Street Trends
All the recent fashion week looks from across the pond have us buzzing with inspiration and curiosity. From tried and true classics to sartorial statement trends, there’s a certain balance to this week’s street style standouts.
Suits & Sneakers
Fashion week showgoers are giving their slickest suits a casual twist. The formula we’re spotting simply involves suits in bright hues and your comfiest kicks. Could this be the perfect city uniform?

Black & Yellow
Sure, colour is trending over all-black ensembles this season – but we can’t escape the darkness entirely. Black and yellow outfits mix the best of both worlds and continue to catch our eye.

Fans of classic and minimal accessories, avert your eyes now! From animal toy clutches to food-shaped shoulder bags, novelty arm candy is fast becoming the accessory of choice for more adventurous street stylers.
White Hot
Street style coverage during European summer is both inspiring and envy-inducing. Head to toe white outfits are something of a warm weather staple, but there’s no reason to wait for the sun to come out before rocking this trend.

Local Radar
It’s officially turtleneck weather, and locals are embracing this style like their warmth depends on it!
By the looks of it, we’re loving the tailored-with-a-twist trend here in Aus, too. This trend is luxe and laidback in equal measure.
Stylist Says
This week’s top style tips come from Melbourne-based stylist and creative powerhouse, Kelly Tee.

Describe your style in three words: Absolutely bloody not!
Trend you can’t stop spotting? I try not to get too caught up in trends. I know it’s important to know what’s trending, but I’m a real fan of people that hold themselves within their own personal style. You can buy into fashion and trends, but you can’t put a price tag on style. That’s something intrinsic, something innate. You wake up one day feeling a certain way, so you dress like it. It can’t be taught. It’s a feeling.
Style tip for colder weather? As I’m from UK where it gets bloody cold I’m gonna say layers and textures. Add a bright faux fur throw or scarf to your outfit to give it depth and a point of difference. And never be afraid to wear colour!
