Replacing Adelaide’s annual Fashion Festival, Vogue Festival is taking over the city from tomorrow until Saturday. One of it’s most exciting activations is happening smack bang in the middle of Rundle Mall. A Slide Lab!
Shoe lovers take note! It’s time to SLIDE into Summer like never before. Slide Lab By Spendless Shoes is revisiting its incredibly popular retail pop up. Last year, its Sneaker Lab was a stand out, voted absolute best thing to do at the festival, and this year, they’re updating with a Slides Lab! That means you can get your very own personalised custom slides, designed uniquely for you!
Global fashion houses have made the slide a must-have summer item. Slides are now one of the most on-trend fashion shoes this season. Every fashion house from Gucci to Adidas is releasing a version. You can top that with your own one-of-a-kind customised slides.
How does it work?
You’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with one of Slide Lab’s designers who will customise the slides with your choice of special touches to create the ultimate bespoke item for your summer wardrobe. It’s also the the ultimate Christmas present for the fashionista in your life.
Join designer and typographer Lauren Dragosetti from Just Sayin’ Girl, who will lead Slide Lab’s lineup of graphic and acclaimed visual artists who will completely personalise a new pair of signature slides just for you.
Known for her quirky famous sayings, Lauren has worked with brands La Prairie Australia and the United States, Mimco, YSL Beauty, Cosmopolitan and Australia Post just to name a few. Now you can fashion one of her famous one-liners on your feet, setting off your sparkling summer toes ahead of the fashion pack!
One of Adelaide’s favourite fashion illustrators Petar Prodanovic will also be on hand, along with the always colourful Calamity Tash. Sydonie Baldissera from The Quirky Cup Collective is also returning. New artists include Jess Fantasia, Isabella Mcrae, Jessica Walker, Amanda King, Lauren Crago, Alexandra Bellas, Louise Ignacio, Julia Clarke and Cat Dean.
