SALA 2024

Naomi Schwartz Jewellery Design Gallery once again participating in
SALA 2024 and this year their exhibition is being held at their new Henley Beach Jewellery Design Gallery at 1/204 Military Rd, Henley Beach.

A selection of ten artists whose work has previously been shown by the Gallery or whose style of contemporary jewellery fits well within this year’s theme ‘Iridescence’.

Due to the gallery’s Henley Beach location, ocean inspired themes have been the norm for SALA. This year’s theme is drawn from some rather divine pistachio south sea baroque pearls. The different colours and light reflecting from the pearls opened a discussion about the lustre, fire and brilliance of gemstones so it naturally inspires the theme of Iridesence. Iridescence is an invitation to delve into the world of colour and let your imagination run wild by the way light intercepts with materials.

Naomi Schwartz Jewellery Design Gallery features more than 25 contemporary jewellery and glass artists’ work from all around Australia. It proudly promotes the idea that jewellery is ‘wearable art’.

The jewellery design gallery is a light-filled studio with gifts, glass and jewellery and welcomes commission pieces and remodels.

Naomi Schwartz is now also offering jewellery making workshops where you can learn to handcraft your own ring, earrings or necklace.
