Love Vintage? Interested in plus size fashion? Keen to see the rising stars of the runway? Now you’ve got the chance to do all three as this month’s “May I be Seen” runways get underway in Adelaide in two showcase events!
May is the month to be seen! Now in it’s second year, the multi-runway fashion platform May I Be Seen is back featuring specialty runway shows from Adelaide based retailers A Star Is Worn, Curves Bridal Boutique and Kennedys Boutique.
Giving unique small businesses a chance to “be seen”, and fashion lovers an awesome event to “be seen” at, May I Be Seen is the brainchild of Finesse Models Australia Director Brigette Mitchell, who will be using the runways to introduce the world to the rising stars of the runway, following in the footsteps of international supermodels Lily Nova and Akiima.
Each unique event is catered not only to fashion lovers, but to lifestyles and life-events.
Curves Runway: Kennedy’s Boutique & Curve Bridal Boutique

Specialising in styling the curvy woman, online store Kennedy’s Boutique is giving you the chance to see their latest collection in the flesh and shop the runway with a pop up store on-site. Kennedy’s proudly stocks sizes 10-24.
Runway 2
Adelaide’s first ever plus-size Bridal boutique, Curve Bridal, makes zero apologies for making the wedding industry a more inclusive place!
Getting married? Or need that perfect After 5, Evening Dress? This is the runway for you and your girls. Curve Bridal features gowns ranging in size from 14 to 30! Plus size fashion has never been so glam!

Whip out the glomesh and crimp your hair, as everything old is new again when you step back in time with A Star Is Worn.
Vintage Emporium A Star Is Worn has expanded with the opening of their new flagship store. And to celebrate, May I Be Seen is presenting the the ultimate journey through the decades. This promises to be a hoot, with at least one iconic pop star guaranteed to help everyone “Turn Back Time”!
You’ll be greeted with a complimentary drink on arrival at each event, where you’ll enjoy a soundtrack to the experience mixed by Deejay Filip with an F, and BE SEEN at the hottest events in May sponsored by Starfish Developments, featuring Finesse Models Australia.
