Love shopping pre-loved designer pieces? Then you’ll will be excited to know about Dee Black Boutique. Established 5 years ago, the Perth consignment store is celebrating its anniversary this weekend with a soiree at the new Shirley Strickland Pavilion.

Stocking thousands of pieces from local and global designers, the consignment store adds new pieces daily which are available for purchase either online or in-store. Owner Dee is driven by the desire to make quality pre-loved style accessible, affordable and sustainable for those who love designer brands. “We are passionate about making women look and feel good!” says Dee.

The soiree is their first major fashion event and they are planning for it to be the start of many more. “We will be celebrating the sustainability of fashion alongside many of our store’s consignors and customers together with local media and influencers.”

“Our fashion show will feature our store’s pieces, including many high end labels, showcasing items covering categories like resort wear, red carpet, wedding guest, avant garde, and corporate styles amongst others. “

On the night, two well known Perth stylists will interpret separately each of the different categories showing how individual style can be achieved without spending large amounts of money.

“We have an incredibly diverse community of consignors and consumers. We aim to reflect that diversity of age, size, culture and perspective within our boutique and in our fashion runway event.  Our models are aged from 16 to 82 with sizes ranging from 6 to 16.”

Dee is passionate about making a positive impact on women’s self-esteem and on the environment by making sure that quality items that still have lots of life in them and find a new home where they are loved – a win-win!
