Best Street Style of 2023 Melbourne Fashion Festival

MFF Street Style

It’s that time of year again and our COCKTAIL REVOLUTION photographer happily pounded the pavers at the Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2023 to bring you the best street style images of the event.  No paywalls, no excuses to lead you to shopping channels, just the best looks of the week.

Without apology, we’re about capturing the diverse people, moments and amazing style of those who pay for their own clothes when they turn up at big events. We might not always get it right, but that’s our aim.

Renowned for its individuality and self-expression through style, Melbourne turns it on during its Fashion Festival. Everyone who comes to Melbourne loves walking down city streets and lanes because its people know how to dress. Considered to be the style capital of Australia, Melbourne will always give you a run for your money when it comes to people watching. And unquestionably the best time of year for that is during March and the Melbourne Fashion Festival.

This year’s Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival returned to the Royal Exhibition Building where the street stylers and fashion set strutted their stuff around the Plaza out front. We spotted many of our favourite style mavens, some of whom we’re seeing become progressively bolder in how they present themselves to the world.  But there was also a new generation of festival-goers to meet and greet: first timers who love fashion and who love to dress up.

With not enough reasons to dress up in most people’s event calendar, the Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival provided the best opportunity of the year, so far. Our cameras are focussed on the people who are making a statement to the world. About themselves. About their identity. About their style. About their discerning fashion taste. With enough chutzpah to make the Kardashians blush, here are the people we spotted with the best looks of the week.
