The Statement Belt
The ’statement belt’ has almost become synonymous with logomania, with wildly popular waist-cinchers from like of Gucci and Off-White doing the rounds for several months. This statement belt trend, however, has more to do with playful proportions than with logos.
The standard, hip grazing bomber jacket isn’t the only option if you’re a fan of the bomber jacket trend. Longline bombers make for an even better cold weather choice, providing that extra bit of coverage. As the warmer weather starts to build, ditch the trousers and wear a longline jacket over your favourite dresses.
If you’re not quite up for embracing acid brights or all over print, you’ll love the rising embroidery trend. We spotted it first on denims but that trend is spreading to all threads possible. Give your wardrobe a subtle but stylish update by throwing in embroidered pieces. DIY encouraged, of course.
Oversized sun hats have been resurrected by several international designers of late, and now the hottest new accessory has made the leap from editorial styling to the streets. Could the large, wide brim hat trend eclipse the bakerboy/beret craze of recent months?
