That’s why Cocktail Revolution is Reinventing the Humble Fashion Blog. Yes, our pages are full to the brim with coverage of the latest fashion trends we’ve spotted being worn on the street. And there’s loads of advice on “how to” style yourself for best effect. Yet this is one of those fashion blogs that isn’t about the fashion bloggers! Rare as far as fashion blogs and women’s magazine’s go, Cocktail Revolution is about the people we observe.
Watching You
A quick flick through our pages reveals just how much our team is watching you. Different to other fashion blogs, there are MANY faces on the pages of Cocktail Revolution. Except for ours. We’re the ones behind the lens, never in front. Try as you might, you won’t see any of us modelling the latest looks. That’s because Cocktail Revolution isn’t about us. We’re people watchers from way back. And we love nothing more than photographing you in the street!
Promoting You
Each week, new faces and styles selected from those of you we’ve snapped on city streets appear in our Australian street style gallery. We don’t comment on what works and what might work better. We leave it entirely to you to vote for your favourite look. Monthly top-voted winners win fab prizes and may even be invited to model for an Australian label.
Engaging with You
Cocktail Revolution is reinventing “engagement”. While there are many fashion blogs that do, we don’t accept free gifts from suppliers in exchange for promoting their products and brands. And you’ll never see us in a photo shoot. Instead, we want to know what you think.
Our popular Road Test invites followers to try out a new product or service and tell us all what you think. From hair salons, to cafes, shopping precincts to styling new release garments, we invite you to try out a “mystery” product or service. No clues beforehand. We’re interested in your authentic responses to these products.
Sharing Other Fashion Bloggers Best Advice with You
Cocktail Revolution is about the many faces of Australia who are interested in fashion, the business of fashion and of course, styling. That includes stylists and emerging fashion designers and labels. While so many in the fashion game have their own fashion blogs, they can be hard to find in the crowded internet. You’re most likely to come across what they think in some of our unique series.
For example, Meet the Stylist is one of our regular series that shares the views of some of the industry’s most creative voices. Never ones to overlook creative talent, these are voices that might otherwise have been lost in the crowd. Emerging designers and newer fashion labels are also featured on our pages. How would you ever know about them otherwise?

As far as fashion blogs go, Cocktail Revolution doesn’t rely only on what’s happening in Melbourne or Sydney to the exclusion of the rest of the country. We check it ALL out, travelling to the biggest fashion runways in the country, on whichever coast they happen to be showing! We have the bags under the eyes and the frequent flier points to prove it!
