Interest in sustainable and ethical clothing is growing fast. This week during Melbourne Fashion Week, ethical clothing graduated from add-on seminars to a dedicated showcase.
In a fashion first, the ethical clothing runway was presented in the forecourt of the Melbourne Town Hall in Swanston Street, in our absolute favourite format – street style! (Stroke of genius.) The showcase was organised and unveiled by Ethical Clothing Australia, the accrediting not-for-profit body that works with Australian labels to help them ensure legal compliance. ECA works with Australian brands to help them ensure their supply chains are transparent and ethically acceptable.
