New Collection by Calèche Bridal
Step into a world of enchantment with In Wonderland, the latest collection from French-Australian bridal and couture label Calèche Bridal House. Inspired by the timeless charm of Alice in Wonderland, this collection brings the story to life in a way that celebrates individuality and self-discovery. Through intricate lacework, unexpected silhouettes, and delicate details, In Wonderland invites brides to embrace their unique style.

From airy layers of tulle evoking the dreamlike landscapes of Wonderland to bold designs reminiscent of Alice’s whimsical adventures, each piece captures the magic of the story. Designed and crafted in Calèche’s Adelaide atelier over six months, the collection is a testament to the artistry of bridal couture. Creative director Liz Foubert drew inspiration from a revival of traditional laces and floral embellishments, explaining, “We wanted to bring a fresh perspective to timeless romance by blending classic laces with modern, structured silhouettes.”
The collection features 25 distinct bridal looks, including standout designs like Romantica, a sheer Chantilly lace gown finished with an oversized silk bow, and Lily, adorned with hand-crafted floral embroidery that blooms across every inch of the dress. Liz describes the intricate work on Lily as a true labor of love, with each detail carefully crafted in-house.
Shot by Haley Renee at the stunning Al Ru Farm, the campaign brings the collection’s fairytale essence to life. Model Talullah from Finesse Models embodies a modern-day Alice, exploring vibrant flower beds, a giant chessboard, and a whimsical tea party with fluffy bunnies in tow. Liz and assistant designer Wendy shared their excitement about their Calèche Bridal shoot, saying, “From the start, we envisioned a magical, storybook setting, and the entire team brought that vision to life beautifully.”
The new Calèche Bridal collection launches online Monday, December 2nd, alongside a brand-new website for Calèche. For those eager to see it in person, the full collection is now available to view by appointment at the Adelaide boutique, 43-45 Chapel St, Norwood. (South Australia).
