South Australian fashion designers and everyone involved in fashion in the state, pull out all the stops! The South Australian Fashion Industry Association (SAFIA) is inviting you to apply for a spot on the runway for Adelaide fashion week – ADL FW 2025. Expressions of Interest open today!
ADL Fashion Week 2025 will feature a packed runway schedule at its heart, with designer events, pop-up experiences, and activities happening all over the city.

The selection process, based on Expressions of Interest, has been designed to ensure equity, transparency, as well as solid South Australian representation. The process closes on Thursday, 22 August 2025 and successful applicants will be announced on Tuesday, 2 September.

“ADL Fashion Week is more than a series of runway shows, it’s a cultural and economic platform for showcasing the creative DNA of South Australia,” said Dr. Nathan James Crane, Chair of SAFIA. “By facilitating the EOI process, SAFIA is ensuring a fair and thoughtful selection process that supports diverse aesthetics, emerging and established talent, and designers who see Adelaide as a city of opportunity.”
All submissions will be assessed by an expert panel of leaders from fashion, media, education, and the creative industries, convened by Dr. Crane:
• Emma Riemersma – Stylist & Fashion Editor, SA Life
• Helen Jansson – Senior Lecturer, Fashion, TAFE SA
• Selena Battersby – Director, Super Studio; former Editor, Attitude and Clique
• Abby Potter – SAFIA
