Designer Tiff Manuell‘s love of silk, vibrant colours and hand painting were all beautifully showcased through her live street runway installation at the 2015 Adelaide Fashion Festival. Complementing and contrasting her popular style of accessories with her first collection of wearable-art-gowns, models paraded from Hindmarsh Square, along the Pirie Street pavement to the Art Hunt Studio. There the live installation saw models moving from podium to podium, standing in the “shop window”, slowly twirling and moving between on-lookers to swap positions. A colour-lover’s delight, the installation was engaging, vibrant and moving, with Tiff sharing a bit of the emotion that went into creating her artistic fashion masterpieces. Then it was back along the pavement to fashion central at Hindmarsh Square where the installation continued for a while longer amidst a fashion designer’s market that was set up especially for the festival.
For fashion lovers and street style photographers alike, this live street runway event was kinda like fashion Christmas!
